A little too smoky for me. Advent 2017.

Loved it and would seek it out again. Advent 2017

I was super jazzed to try this one and came away somewhat bewildered. The flavor can be summed up in two words: camp-fire. It literally tastes like camp fire smoke. Not terrible, but not good either. Just camp fire. Day 11 of my 2017 advent.

Day 11 of my 2017 advent. Seriously couldn’t find anything I didn’t like about this bourbon. I’m shocked that something so well rounded can cost so little. There are other whiskeys id prefer to drink, but nothing close for even twice the price.

Day 10 of my 2017 advent. Good, not great. I prefer more scotch flavor and less sherry.

Day 9 of my 2017 advent. This was a pretty unique scotch. Kinda white grapy, kinda appley, and a strange after taste that wasn’t scotch enough. Easy to drink, but not especially delicious.

Day 8 of my 2017 advent. Spicy, flat, non-scotch scotch. Not terrible, but not good.

Day 7, 2017 advent. Sort of plain vanilla Irish whisky. Not bad in anyway, just not especially good either. Not bad, but not worth having a full bottle on hand either. It was remarkably smooth, and easy to drink. Fruity, and well rounded. Recommend it neat at room temperature. Again, not bad, just too many others that are better.

Day 6 of my 2017 advent. Smooth enough, but oddly flavored. Reminded me very much of white grape juice.
