    In a word: unique. Salt, sour lemon, small hint of smoke in the nose. taste continues the brine, but brings in red apple almond vanilla and mild white pepper. a must try

    The nose is deep with fruit sweetness, pepper, and a distinctly non-islay peat. The taste jumps into flavor the nose doesn't indicate as spicy clove and cinnamon hit. The peat is still present, but still secondary to the flavor

    I've had wildly varying experiences with this so it loses points for consistency. in 2018 the dram was rich with fig and walnut notes. The body continues with that influence and turns Christmas cake with sherried influence. Great, but the price may be a tad high

    Fruity, herbal, white pepper and a good smoked jerky in the nose. Almond comes out a bit in the taste, as well as the peat and what seems like lemongrass. It feels like a mix of some notes in Caol Illa 12 and HP12. Good Abv for tinkering with water. Very pleased

    The bourbon and Sherry blend is nice, but could use more Sherry. the malt is still very nice, light and fruity with zesty herbal notes. at 46% it takes water well, but has a slight bite
