Pleasant heat and sweetness. Permeates through the finish. Very good.

Lots of wood and a delicate fruitiness that almost gives me an Irish whiskey vibe. Like as if it were finished in sherry or something. Very good. Very fitting for the reputation.

This side to side with Weller 12 is pretty comparable. Just the wheated mash with a bit of butterscotch and caramel. It is better.

Very light. Tastes like a proofed down version of 107, and all the corners have been sweetened. You wouldn’t to accompany this with anything. Maybe just a little bit of spice there, too. Honestly reminds me of Eagle Rare.

Very floral and sweet. After it’s opened a bit, it’s exceptional.

This one is a sizzler. It has a pleasant flavor, but I wouldn’t say it’s full-bodied. Felt a bit slim/oily on the palate. The finish is long and spicy as hell. It’s good, but I wouldn’t spend the secondary prices on it. Edit: So, your results will vary, especially since they’re mostly single barrels. The one I just had is amazing.

Central Ohio Whiskey Society pick: “Four Grains of the Apocalypse.” This one is awesome. In their description, they mentioned that this may compete with Stagg Jr, ECBP, etc., and I was skeptical. After opening this up and letting it breathe for about 20 minutes - holy shit, this is good. Sweet and robust, some light spice with a little fruit sneaking in. I’m very impressed. I’m considering going and buying another before it’s gone.

This is an awesome value. Deep and warm. This is really on par with the likes of Stagg Jr. I’m really impressed by this.

Warm and sweet. Just a tinge of spice that dissipates quickly. Nutty, vanilla. For the usual ~$60, this is a quality pickup.

Liquor Cabinet in MI. Neck pour. Rich and woody, similar to Ezra 99, but a bit more developed. It’s really nice. Almost tastes like a chocolate caramel.
