Rebel 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 14, 2022Nose: vanilla, red fruit, cherry, caramel, cinnamon, apple pie Palate: soft, coats the palate but isn’t long. It’s sweet, cherry some oak at the end of the palate and a hint of cinnamon. Finish: sweet oak, decent finish that doesn’t really make it to your chest but heats up palate but doesn’t linger for long. -
Nose: green apple, caramel, vanilla, almost like an artificial apple smell, like a jolly rancher, I can also get some graham cracker Palate: soft initially but then the spice hits on the back end. The apple is still there, with some spices. Finish: it has a peppery spicy finish, with a medium finish, in my opinion.

Nose: Caramel, Vanilla, citrus, some red fruits , green apple overall not a bad nose. A very typical buffalo Trace nose Palate: a nice buttery oily mouthfeel, sweet and can taste the citrus notes, and caramel, and a hint of honey Finish: a little bit of rye spice, not a great finish, very “smooth” even though I don’t like using that term, but it doesn’t have a great finish.

Nose: grainy, corn, light caramel, cinnamon, Palate: Sweet when it his your lips, but then quickly turns into the taste of corn, you can definitely tell it’s a young bourbon because of how thin it is and it’s very light coloring. It has a little heat on the palate but not to crazy Finish: Has a decent finish but like I said thin and mostly burn not a Kentucky hug! Not a bad bourbon but probably will not buy again.
