4.25 if distiller would allow it. Lots of flavors going on and I keep finding new ones every time I pour it. The nose has some butter and honey while the taste is toffe and peat. exceedingly complex for the price point

Already a big fan of Laphroaig but the Lore sets the bar even higher for the islay category. Fun to say you have a bottle with some '93 vintage in it (year after I was born). The embodiment of camping at night. The smoke, evergreen hints, and fruit. This will keep you warm at night.

This was my go to high proof dram before I was introduced to the likes of Weller Antique and Stagg jr. Still can enjoy it but it never leaves me wanting to pour another.

A salty nose and a sweet taste. I was expecting laphroaig or lagavulin amounts of smoke but it is more along the lines of a talisker in my opinion. Compass Box has yet to steer me wrong.

A super approchable whisky that smells amazing. Plenty of floral notes that made my mouth water before trying it. I would reccomend drinking after a savory meal as on its own as the sherry finish really shines through here. Will make a great bottle for the infinity whisky I plan on starting after finishing the harmony.

Vanilla is evident as is a small amount of smoke. Nothing too complex other than fruit. I would reccomend as an intro to Japanese Whisky

Was genuinely suprised by the peat balacing very well with the sweetness. Nothing was too sharp or uncomfortable, just a great blend of easy drinking flavors.

One of the most complex whiskies I have yet to try. The flavor goes from salty to sweet to spice all in one sip. Perhaps more savory than sweet but this is the best fried chicken and waffles I have had the honor of tasting.

The other (redbreast) Irish you must have. Different in that the booze is present in the aftertaste but sweet from the sherry casks is present but not overwhelming. Butter/shortbread note is much more subtle than Redbreast.

The ideal Irish in my honest opinion. Less shortbread and butter than the 15 and zero mango compared to the 21. Great for price but if the 15 is within $15 I’d go for the 15.
