Undervalued. Moving away from bourbon but for $30 you can’t go wrong.

Insanely fruity and sweet without overdoing it somehow. The longer it sits the sweeter it gets until the smoke rounds the taste out perfectly. If you can find a bottle, buy.

I hate using the term "smooth" becasue that typically means boring for me but this has enough complexity in the sweetness and easy sipping ability for a great evening.

The stiffist of drams. Cut with water and the cherry and brown sugar will greet you with a firm handshake instead of the ABV kicking your teeth out. Sometimes you need your teeth to get kicked out and this does the job perfectly

Reaction out loud in my basement at home - “ohhh. Wow.” Big fan for price. Moving away from bourbon but this is so interesting I would stock regularly. Would reccomend enjoying cinnamon notes in your drink to enjoy all the Colonel has to offer.

I want to compare this to Lagavulin distiller's edition in my mind but the Talisker takes on a flavor profile of less smoke and more fruit notes which honestly may play to a larger audience then the lag. If you are looking for your first entry to heavy peat, this is a great gateway.

The QA cask is an interesting method of aging but I honestly prefer the cheaper 10 Year.

Great value. So much complexity for little money. It is like drinking meat and cheese. I feel I should use this as a timestamp in my life. BL10 AL10 (Before Laphroaig 10, After Laphroaig 10)

Reminds me of and irish moreso than a scotch on the intial taste. Butter, baking spices. Taste makes itself known on the finish more than anything. My initaition to Compass Box.
