Tried this in a flight with Old Forester Statesman and 1920. what this has in common with Brown-Forman's Woodford Reserve is that they are both oak forward which I like. This is a nice step up from the Old Forester 86 proof. It's a good overall bottle at a good price point for cocktails or evening sipping.

Willett Family Estate Bottled 6 Year Straight Rye
Rye — Indiana (bottled in Kentucky), USA
Reviewed December 20, 2019Tasted 12/17/19 I'm a little bit confused about the description saying it's MGP whiskey because what i had is definitely Willet's own distillate. Compared to the 4 year, the 6 is more refined and does not taste as the younger brother. It would be nice to see more older batches from them.20.0 USD per Pour -

Pendleton 1910 12 Year Rye Whisky
Canadian — Canada
Reviewed December 15, 2019 (edited February 20, 2020)Tasted 12/14/19 Well the original Pendleton is not good at all and hardly tastes like a whisky. With the 12 year it’s definitely better, but that isn’t saying much. You get a nice oak smell on the nose , but it gets lost once it hits your pallet. For probably the same price you can get a bottle of Lot 40 Canadian Rye and it would be a much better pour.
