It was fantastic perfect blend of all the bourbon elements. It has enough punch with the 100 proof. I have to find this bottle somewhere it's a all time favorite for me

It's got orange peel and only a slight bite. With the price and my peasant pallet I like the 101 better. Good deal for my wallet

Not the best of bookers but it has its peanut profile and that pleasant heat you get from all bookers

The sweetness of vanilla and Carmel hit right away, then you get a mouthfeel of green apple and start to taste the fifteen years of oak. The Finnish is what sets this apart from other bourbons. It hits you with all the components of a great bourbon and lingers in the mouth.

Fantastic Sherry and pepper heat. Maintains the slight sweetness of a typical Irish but adds to its complexity with hints of cocoa and pepper.

For a bourbon drinker who abhors peat, this was the scotch that has become one of my favorite pours. It’s has a warm sherry orange peel flavor with a hint of chocolate, the 17 years in the barrel are present but in the background. Then it coats your palate and leaves a little bit of heat.

Fantastic. Short bread cookies, keep it on your palate and it blossoms with some fig and raspberry a little heat at the end to remind you your drinking a cask strength.

A bourbon that has a consistent nose to palate to finish. Rich, luxurious and a slight bite to let you know to savor it and get ready for the next fantastic sip. Have not had the new 108.3 Belle Meade. I stocked up on the cask strength and will regret the day I drink the last of it.

Chocolate Carmel bar, the sweet aspects stay on your tongue, while the 127.3 proof drifts up into the nasal passages. The sweet Carmel and chocolate stays with you long after you swallow . Once again Bookers has a home run bourbon. I wonder though if they break the $100 bottle price if it will continue to fly off the shelf’s or if $100 is a ceiling people won’t go over.
