Beautiful, in my opinion vastly superior to Macallan 12, more rich, more interesting, only very difficult to find in Colorado for some reasons. Edit 1/31/18: finally found a bottle in CO, the prices went up but even at $59 it is worth every penny. I am afraid to say it is so far my favortie scotch, even compared to older or rarer drams I was fortunate to try. It is complex, fruity and savory at the same time. It just hit all the right spots and it is very rich, never bland, the burn is right, it coats the mouth just the right way, I cannot stop praising it.

Loved how delicate it is, beautiful peat integration. Not as smoky as Laphroaig or Ardberg but equally interesting. Sad it is so expensive here in the US ($70-80 in the Denver Area, can be found for half that in Europe). Update as I finally bought a bottle: even better than I remembered. More fruit on the nose and the palate than any pleated scotch I tried, even reminds me of Oban. Peat is there but more as a canvas than the subject. This one is expensive but there is a reason and the more I come back to it, the more I appreciate it.

Really positively surprised by this one, I had one at the bar of the hotel I am staying and was not expecting such a nice balance between peat and smoothness. Really pleasant, quite a few layers, I need a bottle of it. I am a big fan of Laphroaig and Lagavullin so usually not "scared of the peat" but this restrained peat with smoothness is really pleasant.

I found it way more pleasant than Stranahan's for half the price, really decent whiskey for that price

Plastic/rubber nose, I was truly disapointed by it. Regret I did not try it with a few drops of water by then but won't waste over $50 for it again...
