Tastes

Not a ton on the nose, and just some mild sweetness on the tongue. Just not alot there. Maybe some green apples, but really faint.

Cinnamon, burnt sugar, and baking spices on the nose. Sweet on the tip of the tongue but finish is dry and long. Makes you think you will get a bright apple or candy flavor, but turns a little more dark, but in a good way.

Pepper on the nose, with some sweetness on the palate. Some dill and oak on the palate.

Dark fruit and raisins prominent on the nose, with some maltiness and molasses present. The malt really comes through on the palate. The high proof has a good burn to it and the finish is long. Has the sweetness of a bourbon from the new oak barrels, but also the fruitiness of an un peated Scotch. Fantastic.

Some brown sugar, but nose is muted. Sugar comes through on the palate. Molasses and vanilla very prominent.

Brown sugar prominent on the nose. Some molasses too. Lots of flavor! Sugar, baking spices, and the finish really lingers. Best PNW bourbon I’ve had.

First nose was soap and rubbing alcohol. To be even more specific, ivory soap. Very smooth taste for the proof. But one dimensional with minimal finish. Tastes soapy.

Cinnamon and talc on the nose. Like a fresh scent dryer sheet, but not overpowering. Maybe lavender? Not sweet tasting, long dry finish. Definitely taste botanicals.

Smoke on the nose, some sour fruit as well. Not very sweet on the palate. Feels like it’s missing something. One dimensional.

Some spice was on the nose, hard to discern in my limited palate. Sweet on the tongue, then really warms up and the rye spice comes out. The finish is really long and has that Kentucky hug.
