Wow. Incredibly full bodied, lots of characteristic bourbon sweetness but turned up to 11- vanilla, caramel, and even chocolate the longer it sits on your tongue. Long, wonderful finish. Yes, it's sweet, even by bourbon standards, but it's hard to find this quality of whiskey at this price.

This one is growing on me. What at first seems like far too young a scotch - fiery without much body to show for it - on second pass reveals much more complexity and nuance. A surprisingly long, sweet, fruity finish lies under the fire, with some candied nuts on the mid palate. The finish is quite good for a young scotch.

Love love love it. It feels like snuggling up with a loved one in front of the fire. Its about as divisive a scotch as they come, but if you like peat this ones for you. The scotch equivalent of an IPA - if you have enough hops nothing else matters. Except the hops are peat smoke.
