Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed November 7, 2020 (edited December 22, 2020)Nose is balanced, with obvious peat; arrival a touch watery and uninteresting, followed by a strong wave of Talisker; sweet, sharp and smokey on exit. The smoke - though only moderate - hangs around on the finish. -
Clynelish 14 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 7, 2020 (edited October 30, 2021)Lovely and a little idiosyncratic. Nose is of a forest after heavy rain; arrival is soft and sweet; the development a little peaty, but curiously floral; the finish unmistakably herbal.
