Herradura Ultra Añejo Tequila

Reviewed March 26, 2019 (edited August 21, 2021)Definitely the best Cristalino I’ve had so far (I do love Herradura). Unlike Don Julio’s Clara this actually feels substantial. Not as bright and fruity as the Reposado. Just as sweet but not as syrupy as the Anejo. It follows Herradura’s fruity profile but it’s got a smoky depth to it. Like the rest of Herradura’s expressions it’ll come off a little astringent sometimes depending on your palate. Unfortunately not available in Ontario. -
Dulce Vida Blanco 100 Proof Tequila

Herradura Silver Tequila

I received this bottle as a very generous Christmas present from my boss, thank you Frank! I really haven’t had many cognacs but this is definitely the best one so far. Oak, a hint of vanilla, rich dark lingering stewed fruit and light grape tannin dryness. Again I’m not cognac expert but to me this tastes like a more refined Remy Martin VSOP, not nearly as dark a profile as 1738. Not available in Ontario.

Light in colour with vegetal roasted agave, white pepper and salty dryness. Purchased for $66 US in Grand Cayman. Not available in Ontario.66.0 USD per Bottle
