BenRiach 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed January 3, 2015 (edited February 9, 2015)I definitely get a hint of chocolate on the nose and the palate. It starts out pretty smooth, then hits you with a spicy finish with a bit of smoke on the tail end. Solid. -
Westland American Oak American Single Malt
American Single Malt — Washington , USA
Reviewed January 2, 2015 (edited July 4, 2016)Sweet on the nose, with hints of toffee, caramel, and vanilla. Some roasted coffee flavors at first taste, followed by a touch of almond and smoke with a nice, spicy finish that mellows out as you sip. Really tasty! -
Blanton's Original Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 21, 2014 (edited December 25, 2014)Easily one of the best - if not the best- bourbon I've had. Great flavor with a nice mix of spice, vanilla, and caramel. A bit harsh at first sip, but opens up wonderfully after just a few minutes.
