    Strong spice, bite and finish. Drinks closer to 120 proof but I like it. Doesn't taste like any Kentucky bourbon I've tried so it's a nice alternative. Single barrel 115.46 proof Distilled in Indiana, five years old

    That's some strong Dickel. Intense oak with a sour twinge. Long finish but all I get is oak. I definitely prefer the 11 year bib.

    Sugary sweetness then spicy. Nice finish for the abv. Solid whiskey but I prefer Wild Turkey 101 rye for bolder flavors and bit more balance.

    Another budget Heaven Hill bourbon I should have passed on. Basic bourbon with little to no excitement. If you need a bottle from this distiller, I recommend Elijah Craig, Evan Williams Bib or even Fighting Cock over this.

    Age statement ❌ 50% abv or more ✅ Long finish ✅ $50 or less❌ Buy again ❌ I wish it had a touch of peat. Reminds me of Naked Grouse but at cask strength. I actually poured a little Wee Beastie in my glass with this and I genuinely enjoy it more.
