Tastes

Medicinal/rubbing alcohol and heat give you a sucker punch but the followup is VANILLA. Sweet and tasty and so worth that first hit. Softer after the burn and other sweet carmel and spices come out. Worked best for me with a cube of ice.

Subtle smoke strands throughout and sweet citrus. Some oak and vanilla in with the citrus and some red fruit. Very light, almost refreshing though it tastes like the peat gives it more body. Everything balanced really well for me on this one. Reminded me a lot of the Oban 14.

Wet, burning burlap and woodsmoke. Oily feel to it with some sweets hidden under it. Maybe a touch of sea salt. Not bad but you'll need to be in the mood for the peat to enjoy this. And if you picked up an Ardbeg, I assume that's exactly what you're in the mood for...
