Beautiful rich honey and leather.

This is beautiful. The nose is surprisingly mellow, with hints of sweetness and oak smoke. On the palate I get burnt ends that were basted in a very sweet brown sugar barbecue sauce. The finish is long and leaves your mouth tasting like the campfire you made with your dad as a kid.

Took it over ice this time. The first sips were incredible, but the more it sat and the ice melted, the less special it got. There might be something to the whole freezer thing after all.

Classic Wild Turkey taste, but it really lights a fire under your ass when you drink it.

Very sweet on the nose and palate. Maraschino cherries and hint of wood spice, with brown sugar throughout. Sweet and tasty enough to be dessert.

Love the spice and kick. Classic rye, well balanced.

Fruity up front; like blackberries. The finish is long with hints of carrot cake.

Same notes I always get. There’s a sweetness, but I get an overwhelming earthy note, like a raw, unpeeled, unwashed potato. It’s far more pleasant than the description belies.

On the nose it's granola and honey. The alcohol is prominent on the taste, leaving more of a burn than you might expect from a mass market whiskey. It's pleasantly sweet, but slightly bland on the taste.
