Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof Rum
Navy Rum — Multiple Countries
Reviewed May 27, 2018 (edited December 18, 2019)Surely OFTD stands for Oh Fuck That's Delicious. because that exact line is what cane out of mouth upon tasting this high proof rum. An amazing, complicated rum for something so strong, with character and depths that just beg for exploring. Recommend sipping over ice, after first having a slurp neat. Un-Frigging-believable in cocktails that require some extra kick -
Holy ShizzBalls. This sweet delectable treat is an exceptionally well priced, fun product. Using two kinds of rum, and fruit and skins from one of the most expensive pineapples grown, the sweet tropical fruit pound out of the bottle, and just beg to be had over ice. It's pineapple, and pineapple lolly flavours combine with lovely round rum characteristics to create a liquor with such body and depth of flavour it has to be tasted to be believed. It also makes one of the best Swizzles I've ever orderd

James E. Pepper 1776 Straight Bourbon (100 Proof) Beige Label
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Kentucky), USA
Reviewed May 27, 2018Sweet vanilla, notes of cinnamon and a dash of clove balanced out by some lively oak tannins. Great easy drinking bourbon. Not quite bold enough for a sour, but it's rye contents leads enough complexity that it is easy to work into a Manhattan or an old fashioned -
James E. Pepper 1776 Straight Rye (100 Proof)
Rye — Indiana (bottled in Kentucky), USA
Reviewed May 27, 2018A fun little NDP that brings along a chewy body and clean finish. Not my go-to, but definitely something I'd pick in a bar when looking for an uncomplicated whiskey. -
A floral bouquet boils off this gin. If they put it in small enough bottle, I'd think you should be wearing it. Those lovely floral and delicate fruit and spice not on the nose are carried across to the pallate with a big juicy character that makes you salivate. A finely balanced finish, with just enough juniper cutting through leavea you wanting another sip. Great solo, on the rocks, tonic or martini... Next cocktail to make with this is an Aviation. Looking forward to it

Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1990
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed April 27, 2018 (edited December 15, 2019)Rich peaches and Chantilly cream give this floral pastry puff of a whisky a delightful and elegant body. While it takes some time to open up, if you have the patience you will be well rewarded with the depths and breadth of the flavour profile increasing in scope. A dash of water causes an increase in brightness, that I felt unnecessary. Gorgeous to look at, better smelling, and deceptively easy to drink. Surely this white leather clad angel can do no wrong -
Macallan Rare Cask
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed April 27, 2018 (edited November 3, 2020)A macallan more in the style of what the name became famous for. But with out the incredible depth. Rich, warm, rounded, but very little excitement in this easy drinker. For the money, you are half paying just for brand
