At 86 proof, I found this to be nice easy drinking, but lacking the Rye spice punch I like in a rye. I get a nice sweetness with vanilla and a slight banana note on the finish

This is a good value for an everyday drink. Not terribly complex but has a nice balace of sweet and spicy. It opens up a bit with an ice cube, but neat it’s spiciness is appealing.

J.Henry has done it again, producing a unique whiskey. This Rye is spearmint forward and has sweet and spicy notes. The finish includes a nice chocolate note.

At 92 proof this bourbon is smooth and sweet. It’s flavor profile is unique and like nothing I have had before. I couldn’t quite put figure out what the unique flavor was but when I saw fig in the producers literature i had to agree its fig and honey. There are strong notes of vanilla and cinnamon finishing with oak and wheat notes. I find that I like J.Henry’s single barrel releases more.
