Tastes

12.29.21 Served: Rocks. Aroma: Lemon candy and aqueous cologne. Taste: Starts as custard, mids as bay leaf, finishes as limoncello (candy and lemon peel). A cheap lemon candy aroma and flavor still dominate when served chilled, but are less dominant and more tolerable.

12.29.21 Consumed: Neat. Bottle has been open for ~6 months. Aroma: Proofy and hard to distinguish, but general cola and root beer notes. Taste: Starts as cardamom. Mids as candied orange. Finishes as peppery and syrupy licorice (not too anise-y). Rocks: Syrupyness increases, and the licorice and orange notes come through. Overall enjoyable despite proofiness. Very mellow amaro that should mix well due to gentle character.

Chilled and over ice. Straight lemon candy. Tastes as I'd expect.

1.29.21 Served: Neat Bottle open: <1 Year Aroma: Orange peel, coca-cola, lemon peel. Taste: Starts as bay leaf and sweet bell pepper. Mids as cola and Dr Pepper. Finishes as black pepper and celery.

12.28.21 Served: Neat Bottle Open: Same Day Aroma: Fresh lemon pepper, oak, and pine-ish cologne. Taste: Starts as vanilla bean ice cream, finishes as bitter lemon pith. Kinda unpleasant on its own.

12.21.21 Served: Neat, Coup Bottle Open: Unknown (Bar) Aroma: Baking spice and bread. Flavor: Starts bright orange. Mids as heavy raisin and cinnamon. Finishes as pie crust and candy corn (starchy).
