Tastes

Nose: cinnamon, light creamy vanilla and oaky spiciness. Taste: allspice, vanilla, cherries and cinnamon. Finish: nice upfront spice that evens out to a nice mild finish that lingers just a bit. I like this bottle. I feel like what you get on the nose, you also get on the taste.

Nose: vanilla,sweet corn and cracker jacks. Taste: sweet vanilla, light caramel and a hint of toffee. Finish: combination of sweet vanilla and caramel upfront, orange zest and allspice on the back end that lingers for a bit. This drinks very sweet and is rather smooth given the price and the fact that it’s 90 proof. This is balanced for a bottom shelf Bourbon.

Nose: vanilla, peanuts and brown sugar. Taste: sweet oak, vanilla, hint of nuttiness and a bit of mint. Finish: nice mouth feel that gives off a light burn (allspice) that transitions to peanuts on the back end that linger for a bit.

Nose: vanilla, caramel and cola. Taste: cinnamon, barrel spice and a hint of vanilla. Finish: very short finish on this. It’s almost like it will pass you by if you’re not looking for it. Light burn on the back end.

Nose: hint of vanilla, peanuts, cinnamon and a hint of cherries. Taste: light peanuts, cinnamon and vanilla. Finish: fades very fast with a super light mouth feel. Almost no burn from this bourbon. Not a lot there, but it’s not bad.

Nose: sweet oak, caramel, honey and a touch of cola. Taste: creamy vanilla, sweet oak and a touch of cinnamon. Finish: great mouth feel that transitions into a nice medium finish on the tongue. This is a very smooth Bourbon. Everything about this Bourbon is top notch, from the nose and taste right down to the finish. Everything blends together beautifully. One of my top 5.

Nose: fruit, floral and dry sweetness. Taste: sweet apples, herbal, tartness, nuts and touch of smoke. Finish: everything all at once up front that quickly fades with the slightest hint of burn. Trying to get into Single Malts. It’s a work in progress for me. Overall this was ok.

Nose: vanilla, brown sugar and cinnamon. Taste: vanilla, all spice and hint of sweet cinnamon. Finish: quick initial flavors up front that fades fast with a light lingering burn on the back end. This is my go to BIB bottle. It’s very smooth and punches above its weight.

Nose: light vanilla, fruit(berries) and caramel. Taste: vanilla, light cherry and spice. Finish: initial burst of vanilla, light mouth feel that lingers for a bit, the slightest hint of burn at the end, very smooth. Really good bourbon that packs flavor, while being very smooth and approachable.

Nose: mint, oak and cinnamon. Taste: spice, rye and hint of sugar. Finish: lots of spice/rye up front. Fades fast with a light burn on the back end. This was an ok Bourbon. Would like to try it as a mixer.
