Tastes

There’s a sweetness that I didn’t notice before. Still very hot and spicy.

Young. Better used as a mixer.

Nose is very nutty sweet smokey charred oak. Palette is a mix of sweet and spicy oak. Despite being a low proof, tastes a bit hotter due to its nice charred oak pepper flavor. Finish is medium to long. Nuts tobacco chocolate and cloves. Reminds me of 2018 OFBB.

Smells of toasted coconuts. Tastes of slight vanilla and nuts with a nice dark chocolate linger. Definitely a finish of smoke char and slight oak and pepper.

The best expression of a peated scotch. The peat for being extremely high is very well balanced. Lots of lingering sweetness. Beautiful.

Smooth. Has a bit of sweetness. Not bad. Definitely better than other bookers that I’ve had.

Comes in slightly hot but after a few sips. Mellows and delicious buttery biscotti.

After letting it breath. It really opens up. I honestly thought I might have wasted money from my first taste. After coming back to it, a lot of flavors popped that I didn’t get before. The PX sherry shines through.

High proof. Flavors last a long time. Delicious dram. Rich toasty oak and vanilla. Caramel and pepper.

“Tastes like burning” very hot on the palette. Definitely needs time to open up. Very similar to the booker’s rye but hotter. Oak and nut flavors are prominent.
