This tasted too smoky to me from the jump and I kept thinking that as I worked through the bottle. Maybe I need to give this another chance in time.

Wow, very fruity (like bubblegum or tutti frutti) and very easy to drink. I'm not sure if this is great example of the style but it is nice to drink.

I know it's pretty expensive, but this stuff is also pretty good. My first impression was that of bourbon smoke but that diminishes very quickly and becomes the rye it truly is.

What are you gonna do? This stuff is everywhere and it's cheap and it tastes even better for how cheap it is. Moreover, the spice notes are on point.

Bought this on the strength of their bourbon and it did not disappoint. Smooth drinking with the right spice notes of licorice and clove.
