    Dry and sweet, delicious quality bourbon, dry oak, very nice, no nonsense. Although 40% ABV in Europe is a shame. Why, oh why. Better off with Wild Turkey 101 that has a decent sting to it and is not watered down with ... ... water!

    Downvoting this one because I think Springbank is better. Mild and delicate, soft, pear, crisp fruit, honey. Clean, yet a bit sharp on the edges.

    Compared to 12 yo, Ambassador's 10 yo, and Valfather (blind test) this one was the least special, a little too generic and only OK. Still, it is Highland Park and it is really nice. Ended up using it to increase the 12 yo's ABV to about 46, and for that it is superb!

    This is not bad at all. Sweet, tropical fruit malt below a sweet bonfire smoke. Edit: kind of wet sour smoke now. Soft sweet ham. It's fresh, easy and nice. Weak ABV, what to expect in this price range. Sour smoke though.

    95% Rye! Sweet, spicy, rye bread. Totally agree: "Mint and rye spice both jump out on the nose, with cedar wood, pine needles, menthol, and vanilla". Good, in a weird way. Kind of liquorice feeling and solid oak.

    Not a bad blend, all right for what it is. Flat, not fruity, fresh or smooth, but instead spicy, some bitterness, thin, sharp. Nothing is really off, nothing exciting.

    Not a bad blend at all. Sweet, gentle, smooth, fruit, honey, bready, balanced, but light, short and very easy. Pretty good consider what it is. Also tried with a dash Tomintoul Peaty Tang which gave it depth and made a very happy dram. Laphroaig works too, but the Tomintoul version was happier. Wow.

    Beautiful. Light friendly heathery, wooden or a tad of forest smoke, vanilla and soft baked fruit, very mild coffee. Richer than HP12, round, smoke, subtle and integrated. Great! A bit short.

    Bold, floral, fruity. Banana sweet vanilla. Bubble gum. Alcohol but in a nice way. Watery at 40%. Oak before and after. This time it was really good! Gentleman Jack may be smooth but this one has more life to it.
