    A simple yet satisfying Scotch. Does have a slight burn to it, which is unexpected. Has flavors of a Highland Scotch. Nothing spectacular, but good overall.

    A very well made scotch. Not super overpowering like an Islay, but just solid in every way. Dark fruit flavors with very light burn. Fantastic Scotch. My favorite Speyside.

    My first love when it comes to Scotch. The smell is fantastic. However after trying more Scotches it seems to not be as complex as I first tried it. Smooth and full of peat with slight other flavors. Definitely my favorite Islay, but not my favorite Scotch anymore.

    An overall pleasure as Talisker hits all of the tasting notes. Peat, fruit, salt, and wood all present. Not overly peaty. A great sipping Scotch. Probably my favorite.

    Very smooth and drinkable 18. Minimal burn if any at all. Very fruity and sweet - maybe the sweetest I’ve had. Water opens it up very much. A good 18, but Highland Park is still the best I’ve had.

    Great Islay profile. Loads of smoke before water, but not much more to it. Water opens it up as expected. Good balance of fruit and smoke. Much better with a touch of water. Not as great as Ardbeg or Lagavulin, but you can’t beat it for the price point. Great starter Islay.

    With water is a lot less smoke and way more fruity. Light hints of smoke, but way more fruitiness. Without water is way more robust and flavorful. Doesn’t have the fruit, but the peat/smoke is very good. On par with Lagavulin.
