This is one of the better Bookers I have had. Reminds me of the 30th but with less oak. The 30th is better but this is close at a much lower price point. I get some caramelized orange notes on the nose and on the palate. A moderate to long finish. A great pour.

This is really good. I get burnt orange and caramelized fruit on the nose. The palate is dark caramel, rich orange, and oak with a long finish. I would love to side by side this Country Ham. This pour is up there with GTS and other barrel proof limited editions.

This is a summer drinking bourbon. Light, no finish, with strong wine influences. Easy drinker that is very approachable. Would not recommend this for a bourbon enthusiast. Good pick for introducing new people to the category.

Smells like aging barrels. Oaky and funky with a long finish for the proof. Good. But I don’t think it is worth the price when you can a single barrel for less money, more age, and more proof.

I like this. I get an unusual combination of dill and honey on the palate. This was a 5 year old Ohio release. I would buy it again.

This is the best Elijah Craig Barrel Proof I have had. Very approachable despite the proof. Delicious. This and Knob Creek Single Barrel are some of the best high proof bourbon values you can get. 12 years or older at cask strength. This is caramel oak bomb.

This is hot with a long finish. It has a nice cherry apple nose with surprisingly little ethanol. It reminds me a little of Stagg Jr with some sharper edges and a longer hot finish. It is good. My bottle was a single barrel selection from High Times.

This is a great daily drinker if you can find it. Classic bourbon. Very easy to drink. You get the typical caramel, leather, and brown sugars. You also can taste the oak on this. It is nicely aged. An all round winner. I have yet to have a buffalo trace product I do not like.

This is delicious. This doesn’t have the really strong peanut notes that some releases have. It is sweet caramel apple with fire on the back side. A long finish with a great Kentucky hug. I am drinking this side by side with WLW at it holds its own. That is all you need to know.
