Cooked Bananas on the nose. That carries over into the palate. Banana split with a good mouth feel. Drinks hotter than proof. Very nice. Jack on steroids. Moderate finish. If you like Jack get this or the barrel proof.

This is great. I did a side by side with the 2018. This one is much better. The 2018 is an oak bomb but lacks the finish of the 2019. This has an incredible finish for the proof. I would buys this if you can find it under $150 bucks.

This is unique. It holds a characteristic old forester taste profile despite being a rye. Almost like their bourbon was mixed with a rye. Good complexity here for this price point. Great in a cocktail, but also good neat. Buy two at this price.

This stuff is weird. It tastes barrel finished in white wine. It tastes like a mix of cough syrup, white grape juice, and a splash of bourbon. It’s not offensive, but tastes unlike anything I have had. Try before you buy. Not my cup of tea.

This is an unusual profile for a bourbon. On the nose I get fruit cake and limestone. That unusual combination carries into palate. It’s sweet with a little mineral taste. Short to moderate finish. I would try this before buying. However the bottle alone is worth getting. Best bottle in bourbon.

This is good, but not so much as to justify the price. Strong alcohol on the nose. A little sweetness on the front given over to a mineral like finish. The finish is long as you would expect for the finish. Much better cask strength options out there for the money.

This sweet and fruity and very unusual rye. The orange rock candy is strong. It is a cocktail in a bottle. Moderate finish for the low proof. Very little rye spice. Buy for the uniqueness and low price.

Some of these bottles are good and some are great. I would put this on par with Blanton’s. See it, buy it. Will not be disappointed.

I gave this bonus points for the price. Really good for a sub 20 dollar bottle. Sweet on the front with some spice at the end. Buy it. Daily drinker and cocktail maker.
