Tastes

Super strong wine aroma, smells lovely. The flavor is perfectly blended, corn bourbon sweetness with the deep rich port flavor. Flavors are a perfect match and balance, I love it.

You can definitely taste that it's a high rye bourbon, but it's lacking body. Pretty thin and needing more richness. Good spice on the tongue but eh.

Usual mellow richness that Irish brings. Grassy nose, balanced well but not much fire.

Smells amazing. Sherry sweetness works super well with the fire and bite. Almost tastes like bourbon, probably why I prefer it over copper pot. Good richness.

Smells deep and complex, and taste is to match. Tornado of flavors , that classic Speyside sweetness that I don't always like but I think the age carries it here. Less body than I'd like but the flavor journey is wonderful. Wood, fire, spice, sweet, everything you'd want.

Super strong, syrupy sweetness under the fire. Overpowering, but kind of in a fun way. Tons of wood, mostly aggression.

Deep dark musty aroma. Complex. Mostly wood, can't place many of the flavors. Its good but nothing distinctive jumps out, it just tastes like "good whiskey". Nice strength, oak and a tingly spice underneath is interesting.

The bar described this as twirling theough a grassy meadow set ablaze. A description I found accurate. Super grassy on the nose, green wood and sweetness. Some of the green tang in the flavor but much sweeter and richer. Powerful and fiery, good amount of spice that lingers on the tail since it's so rich. Definitely evolves and gets better with time.

Harsh, thin, a little sour. At least not canadian, but not much better.

The aroma and flavors are quintessential Speyside. Like someone took that word and distilled it into a bottle. Excellently blended, and a great example of that classic scotch flavor. But as an insufferable hipster, I find it boring.
