Tastes

Butterscotch candy, clear as day aroma. Intensely rich, approaching syrupy. Definitely decadent, an improvement over the 12 but has a medicinal bitter earthy tail that's a little discordant. Tons of fire of course because of the strength.

Aroma is Cabernet, wood barrel, and heaven. Flavors are absolutely magnificent. The deep wines blending together, you can taste all three barrels it's finished in. Medium body but it's not an issue. The wood and wine linger together forever, this is perfect

There's an overpowering aroma I can't quite place. A sort of wood, but doesn't remind me of a barrel. More like fresh cut lumber. Super strong hit on the togue, even for a single barrel. Fire and burn, a little too much, it overpowers everything. Unbalanced, Probably could use some water.

You you can spell the cereal grains pretty clearly on the nose. Lovely, musty, complex. Flavors match, a deep complex mix of barrel spice and wood. Earthy flavors, Not much sweetness but I'm not mad about it. Excellent blend of flavors, absolutely lovely.

Deep wood, richness makes it spread across the tongue. Classic Woodford barrel flavor that spreads beyond what I'd expect of the medium body. The flavor not the richness is the star here. Chocolate finish, medium short. Lovely.

Less campfire than the 10, more complexity. Still tons of smoke. On the tongue it's basically the 10 dialed up a touch. Similar flavors and feel, just a tiny bit better.

Deep campfire aroma. Thinner body than id like, but still medium with monstrous flavor. Campfire smoke and peat. That little extra richness would do wonders to carry the flavor forward.

Heavy grain aroma on the nose, deep and earthy. Dry peanut. Good body, not too much, and the flavor matches that musty grain smell. Some wood, a touch of sweetness, but the prominent flavor is that earthy grain and peanut butter. Lingers on the tail. Points for originality.

Cereal grain on the nose, wood barrel. Reminiscent of scotch honestly, the barley sweetness vibe with a touch of fruit. Medium body, well balanced.

Smells sour? There's something there that's weird. Sawdust? On the tongue I realize it's peanuts. But dry, like peanut shell. Single barrel hit and burn, but not my favorite flavor.
