Wild Turkey Rare Breed 112.8 Proof
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 19, 2019 (edited February 14, 2020)Sweet fire. Super high proof, but the burn is absent in light of the sweet and spice. It's like drinking a sweet spicy flame. Vanilla almost like ice cream, long tingly tail. Smells amazing. Magnificent.Ishibashi station park -
Much lighter than I expected from a Laphroig, then a surge of flavor coming into the tail. Very stark difference. Lighter smokiness on the nose, much calmer than the 10 year. Mostly mild sweet wood, and the smoke follows in on the tail. I honestly don't care much for it, there's not enough there. Interesting flavor change, but all falls flat.SUNTORY WHISKY HOUSE

Connemara Original Peated Single Malt

Reviewed March 9, 2019 (edited April 1, 2020)This has some bite to it which I like. Some spiciness and smokiness on the tail that's lovely. Tastes aged and oily, which is nice. Would love if it were heavier.SUNTORY WHISKY HOUSE
