Smoke Wagon Fourth of July Straight Bourbon (2021 Edition)
Bourbon — Nevada, USA
Reviewed October 21, 2021Grainy nose. Bit of sour apple pie. Bitter, bit of citrus. Pie crust still. Taste of rye. Rubbery. Harsh burn and tingle left behind. -
Odd, but worth a try. Personally it's a favorite. Nose is a bit strong. Pallet is syrupy sweet from the fig. Almost jam like. Tastes like a Manhattan right out of the bottle. But of sour bitters in the finish which leaves a mulled taste in the mouth. It's very different from most whiskeys but worth the try.

Boondocks 11 Year American Whiskey
Other Whiskey — (bottled and aged in) Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 29, 2021Grainy, thin, alcohol forward. Bit of white wine up front, rubber / eraser in the body and finish. Expected more. -
Grainy Rye throughout, exactly what you expect. Strong, youthful, bold flavors. Vanilla and nectar yielding to black pepper and grainy spice. Nice finish, not overly long. Dark color portrays the nice oaky aging, you can taste that it's powerful and a bit unrefined but very enjoyable.50.0 USD per Bottle
