Tastes

Aromas hit the peat and smoke hard. And unsweetened applesauce. The flavor moves toward sweet apples and cherries. But the peat and smoke dont let go. Finishes with mild spice that picked up tremdously with one drop of water. Made my lips tingle. Second drop brought thw peat back even stronger than before. Very good Single Malt.

Nose of caramel and green apple. Flavors are still very sweet and fruity up front. Midway through, the pepper and spice of the high rye content climbs to the front seat and takes us into the finsih.

Amazingly dark and sweet. Wood and caramel all the way through. Delicious.

Quite the nice scotch. Peat and wood and all the flavors that i want in my drink.

Honey and cherry and vanilla and caramel. Thats juat the nose. The palate brings on more of the same and introduces some wood and leather notes. Very easy drinking. Tasty stuff.

Very furity on the aroma and the flavor. Vineous and cherry. More oak and wood on the tongue. Finish is medium and notes of cinnemon come in

A lot of great flavor. But for 18 yeaes old i had expected it to be more mellow. Hot hot hot.
