Kept in the freezer as per recommendation from distillery- I wasn’t sure how it wld turn out at such a cold temperature, but the flavour almost presents as if it has been headed, adds a whole new dimension to the whisky tasting experience- very impressed. Quite a strong flavour compared to finest or the standard 12 year. Spice is high, smoke at the mid level. Like the 12 it tastes like it was finished in a Sherry cask, there’s a cream and vanilla scent that is lost slightly on the tongue. Unlike the 12yr standard there isn’t the underlying dryness of oak
