Barbados Rum brown sugar flavor hits first with the taste of sweet plum or apricot layers… maybe even Dates. The Tingling sensations of fruit lingers on and on…. and on. The flavor is inviting and good! Proof numbs the lips momentarily … which is kinda cool! Then it lays in wait to be swallowed while delivering a nice memory of lounging in a hammock on the beaches at the sugarbay resort in Barbados…. Oh, the memories!

Bruh, So excited I didnt take my time with this one. Just went right in with tasting. Oak is rich, not thick but full flavored , on first taste not sure what I tasted besides oak, oak and more oak. Maybe vanilla but this is heavy on the sweet oak. Like no other. Very nice pour. After Second approach On the nose… heavy vanilla oak Taste… damn good heavy oakie goodness. Sweet vanilla …. Easy to drink. Palate… long smooth oakie, a hint of a hug. But nothing like a Stagg or even EC Barrel Proof. 116 goes down extremely well. Doesn’t taste the proof. But I will say … the length of the slight hug is quite long. Hangs on nicely This is a very drinkable bourbon. If i was comparing to another bottle …Ragged Branch double oak. The only difference for me, is that RB is more woody although its not a double double. WW DD is sweet and an excellent pour.

Smoothest 100 proof on the shelf… taste of butterscotch, vanilla and carmel all through out Very mature sipping bourbon … its worth the price tag and you wont be sorry

On the nose …spicy rye notes Ist taste… bold spicy sweetness that rolls into grassy and the verge of Hay. Rye spice notes are hitting hard … kinda wierd 2nd taste…. More of the same, spicy sweet light taste with the rye notes … light in color and smooth going down. This is different than the 10 year… but really not a bad bourbon. I was expecting the taste of the 10… but i guess 4 more years of aging smooths out the 100% rye taste. Id recommend this bourbon.

Chocolate cherries with oak richness bursting with a full flavor of semi sweet Virginia bourbon.

Full candied and vanilla up front, with a caramel spice on the mouth then it has a nice long sweet finish with a mid to warm hug.. You can feel the proof, but its not hot! I’m a neat guy by choice… and just as i say this, my lips went numb.. this is a good pour! cheers!

Get ready … cause its coming in Hot! Once you get passed the first sip… this is a good pour. I prefer a neat pour. Hot hug and light on the mouthfull (which is too my liking) …light airy flavors and more flavors on this one. Light fruit, sweet, vanilla cherries. Second sip… just got better ( i may have be better prepared for the heat) more and more flavor.. 3rd sip… dropped a cube in it… softened it up a bit and opened even more fruits, apricot and berries. Kinda had a light wine feel to it. Great for a summer breeze porch sitting evening…just saying. 126 proof… another nice pour.

Smooth nice mouth-full with pleasant flavor of chocolate and leather… for the proof…I found this one to be very mild on the hug. Really liked this bourbon. Neat is my preference. I would drink this again.
