Just finished the first of 2 bottles. Got the 2nd when I was 2 drams into the first. Copper color, sweet on the nose, light burn after. Very drinkable neat, likely would water down too much with a cube, would be great in a cocktail. Price point is fabulous for what you get. If you are in New England, get yourself 2 bottles like I did. Looking forward to visiting the distillery tasting room when I am next in Boston.

Straw color on the pour. Cinnamon on the nose. A bit thin in the mouth. Slight spice and burn at the end. Very drinkable. Cost indicative of the branding, doesn't hold up against say a Rittenhouse or a Russell rye but was worth a try.

Golden copper on the pour. Nutty on the nose. Very smooth without spice on the tongue. Hard to tell this is 100 proof. Very drinkable neat, would not overpower a cocktail, would likely be thin with a splash of water or a cube. A good value for the money. If you can't get Dickel's BIB, this is close.

This is a very solid rye whiskey with a great price point and can likely find it many places. Smooth, sweet and not overpowering with the spice. Great neat or mixed. Cannot go wrong with it on your home shelf or recommending to a friend. Could serve as a desert island whiskey.

Had my eye on this for a bit, mostly due to back story and that cool tin cup. Found this from drinking TinCup and TinCup 10 yr. First few drams sweet and grainy, mellowed with a splash of water. Graininess mellowed out as bottle emptied. Overall was ok, will stick with TinCup in the future rather than revisiting this though.

Popped the seal on this several months ago, cleared the neck and for some reason lost interest. Recently inventoried the cabinet and revisited. 2nd dram was neat, coppery on the pour, smooth and sweet on the tongue, ++peppery on the after. 3rd dram added a dash of water. Still quite a bit peppery despite. Not a fan neat, will likely use remainder for cocktails. I see secondary market prices of $70 to $140. Not sure why the premium......

Solid bourbon. Sweet, rich, spicy at the end. Fine neat with side of water. Great in a cocktail. Price point too high though.
