Fantastic bourbon! Keith's tasting notes on the original review are spot on. One can easily savor each of the notes mentioned. Incredibly smooth for 100 proof, can't imagine drinking this any other way than neat but will try it again with an ice cube and see what happens. Teriffic value too, this can easily be my everyday bourbon.

An extraordinary bourbon! Wonderfully rich, sweet, oily, perfectly balanced IMO. Even at 100 proof it's easy to drink neat. Very smooth with just enough heat in the back end to remind you that you're drinking a wonderfully made bourbon.

Quite disappointed with this whiskey. I absolutely love Islay, heavily peated whiskey like Laphroaig, Ardbeg, LagavuLin. Unfortunately this whiskey doesn't make the cut into permanent rotation. Very young and fiery that is truly relentless. Even with water it just doesn't open up or tame itself. In my opinion it's just straightforward alcohol, ton of peat and spice but lacking balance to make it enjoyable.

Sweet,Smokey, Peaty, Salty...quite smooth but not as "interesting" to me as the Cask Strength or Quarter Cask

Just like Rob says in the original/opening review. All of those wonderful characteristics spot on. A beautiful, rich bourbon. I now know why it's highly regarded.

For the price this whiskey can't be beat especially you like some sweetness like honey and vanilla with some smoke/peat in the mix. Very drinkable, truly enjoyable for any occasion. A multi bottle supply in my bar.

This is a peat and smokey brute but with a terrific sweetness that really coats your pallet. Wonderful neat but for some the heat in the back of the throat may be a bit much but then again it's Laphroaig...Love this whiskey.

An incredible and refined Laphroaig....one of the best whiskers I've ever had. Will always have a bottle in my bar and shared with very dear friends.

Fantastic! Rich,peaty, oily, moderately sweet and incredibly smooth neat. With a slight splash of water, it really opens up and tones down the peat intensity and brings out the sweetness but doesn't over power the essence of this wonderful whiskey. Love the traditional 10 year old but this is nirvana...Glad I picked up several bottles.
