Incredibly smooth for the high proof but with a very nice warming feeling on the finish. This is OGD at a cask strength however I don't find it as "complex" as OGD BIB...114 is straight up cinnamon, baking spices, oak, rounded off with maple, brown sugar although it's not too sweet. A touch of water or one ice cube opens it up beautifully and brings out the sweetness a bit more.

Incredibly smooth and flavorful for such a young whiskey...Yes, it's sweet but not overpowering...I get corn of course, tons of vanilla, oak and a nice smidge of spice. These notes are both prevalent on the nose and palate. Only wish it had a longer finish like it's long legs in my glass. Very nice sip neat but really opens up with a small splash of water. Purchased the new 750ml expression for just a few bucks more than their 375ml. Much better buy IMO

Very pleasant and quite different rye. With the 100% Rye mash this really stands out when nosing, tasting, and on the finish. Imagine fresh rye bread, cinnamon, pepper, raisin/prune sweetness, clove, wood. Also get some tobacco notes as well...perique like notes. Incredibly long, thick legs in the glass. You get the woody, tobacco notes first then a sweet, delicious smooth and soothing burn in the finish...Albieit it's a bit short. Happy with my purchase and even better that they now bottle this juice in the 750ml for a couple of bucks more than the 375ml.

Rich, sweet, spicy, medium finish that coats your palate oh so very nice. This is an awesome bourbon that could easily match up or even exceed the higher end ones. Outstanding IMO...delicious neat but even better with a dash of water or ONE ice cube.

Terrific and unbeatable Rye for the $...Terrific nose and taste...molasses, lots of baking spices (ginger, cinnamon), brown sugar. Wonderful neat but just as good with an ice cube or two. Great everyday sipping rye

Spicy, Rich, Smooth with some sweetness. Cornucopia of flavor that covers the palate. In the glass, it has beautiful, long legs. All in balance and wonderfully executed. A terrific Rye IMO and well worth the $.

One word...OUTSTANDING!!! all the characteristics that I love about a great bourbon. Sweet, spicy, woody, tobacco, high proof and oh so smooth and delicious.

One of my absolute favorites! Incredibly smooth for a barrel proof. Sweet and spicy yet with a creamy/oily character that coats your palate. Incredibly long, rich legs on the glass too. When poured the nose is tight but give it some time and it's heaven. Candy Corn, wood, tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon. Drinking neat is my preferred way to enjoy this beauty however I've had it with one ice cube and it's just as delicious. Enjoy!

Incredible "brute" of a bourbon! Rich, strong, full of spice, leather, woody, sweet notes. Drinkable neat as it's quite smooth but definitely better with a splash of water or one ice cube. Simply outstanding
