Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 5, 2020 (edited December 21, 2021)I haven’t have a bottle of this in about 5 years and it used to be a favorite of mine. I don’t know what they did but this bottle tastes like pure disappointment. This is not one to drink neat any longer. Maybe I matured, maybe this just sucks now. -

Heaven Hill Bottled In Bond 7 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 21, 2020 (edited June 27, 2020)The strong oak and nut blast you get right away would normally seem overpowering but as the 100 proof shows itself those flavors help balance it out. There is still a bit of that alcohol finish at the end so if you don’t like that you may want to stay way. Overall I loved this one but at $45 it may be a little overpriced depending on what you like. That being said, out of the bottle in bond bourbons available under $50, it’s probably the best one.45.0 USD per Bottle
