Tastes

Heavy char and spruce on the nose. On the palate it's rich, full, and spicy with big time barrel char, smoke, vanilla, and lemon zest. The finish is long and warming. I think the best part of this pour is really being able to taste the barrel. It really gives you an appreciation for American white oak and I dig it.

On the nose I get spearmint and a subtle barrel char. The sip is smooth, rich and velvety. There's a small bit of pepper at the end, but it's just the right amount. You'd never guess this is 110.4 proof. It seems like the finish is short, but there's a faint burn that sticks around a while. This would be a great pour for a cold winter night.

Caramel, corn, and marshmallows on the nose. On the palate it's viscous and sweet with a building peppery rye burn that smolders for a fairly long finish.

On the nose is sweet cherries and some ethanol. On the palate it's smooth, thick, and sweet. You can taste the cherries you picked up on the nose with a hint of oak and building spice. The finish is like eating a habanero pepper it starts seemingly benign and grows spicier and smolders for what seems like forever. This is an outstanding pour. Well done Jim Beam.

Oak, caramel and raisins on the nose. On the palate it's soft and sweet with oaky spice, vanilla, caramel and raisins. Finish is short to medium. It could benefit from being higher proof, but the flavors present are quite good.

Cinnamon caramel on the nose. Very sweet, toffee, vanilla with a nice spice. Finish is long and warm. Way better than the regular larceny.

Nutty and citrusy on the nose. Sweetness, vanilla, with a slight spearmint and oily hint. Very smooth, medium finish.

Sweet corn, pronounced cherries, and soft chocolate on the nose. Cherries and spice on the palate, smooth mouth feel with a building spicy finish. I LOVE how good this bourbon smells, I want my whole house to smell like it.

Rye and alcohol on the nose. Buttery sweetness on the palate with a bit of rye spice.

On the nose sweet fruit and caramel. In the palate it's sweet, peppery, and briney giving way to more spice and pepper as it smolderingly finishes.
