Favourite whisky - lovely sweet, vanilla, citrus, salty, smokey aroma. Followed by peaty flavours with bitter orange. Lingering smoke with caramel. Perfection!

Sweet vanilla, followed by rye sourness and an oaky finish which has a alcohol burn that without the ice to dampen it down would be too overpowering. The more it mixes with the ice the more it mellows out a bit. Alright for £25 a bottle on offer but nothing special.

Initially got a bit of oak, but that faded leaving big orange notes, slight grapefruit and a sweet but balanced honey finish. Decent!

I get stewed apples followed by honey and lemon. More tropical pineapple notes with a drop of water which I think it really benefits from. It’s nothing incredible but when on offer it’s a good dram for the money.

Smokey peat and raisin on the aroma and taste, with werther’s originals coming through for a sweet but peaty finish. Decent over ice if it’s at a good price point. More of a quantity over quality scotch but still has some interesting qualities.

Hot cross bun, brown sugar, slight chocolate, with peach and apricot. Really nice easy drinking over ice! Very pleasant sweet peach aftertaste. Great value for money.

Fruity, peach, apricot and vanilla give way to a lovely peaty charcoal fire with a peppery mouth warming finish. Superb.

Sweet caramel, sticky toffee pudding, fruit cake and vanilla. Indulgent easy drinking dram.

Tropical fruits and orange on the aroma. Creamy topical flavour, slight sweetness, and a warming finish. Quite unique.
