Redwood Empire American Whiskey
Blended American Whiskey — USA
Reviewed August 31, 2020 (edited March 21, 2021)Great nose - sweet, vanilla, and definitely get some apple. Palate is oily with a lack of flavor on the top but a rich finish with a little spice. Solid B in my book. Skeptical whether or not it’s worth the price. -
High West Rendezvous Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed August 26, 2020 (edited November 27, 2020)Spicy nose with some herbal notes. The palate is really smooth and salty with a little bit of brine. The finish is very satisfying. -
Bomberger's Declaration (2018 Release)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 25, 2020 (edited April 12, 2022)Honey on charred toast for the nose. Palate is sharp and strong but mellows as you sip. Finish dies a bit. Overall, very good, but would not go out of my way to purchase again. -
1792 Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 25, 2020 (edited September 7, 2020)Brown sugar and charred oak on the nose. Palate is smooth, sweet, and delicate. Heat builds into the finish, which is quite lengthy. -
Jack Daniel's Eric Church Single Barrel Select
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee , USA
Reviewed August 20, 2020 (edited October 1, 2020)Nice honey and cherry nose. Sweet on the front of the palate. Bold, smooth, long taste. I REALLY enjoy it. -
Wilderness Trail Settlers Select Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye
Rye — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed August 10, 2020I get hit with ethanol in the nose. Maybe a little sweetness, like rose petals, as it mellows. The palate is robust with a heat that builds through the finish. For only 3 years 11 months of age, this is fantastic!
