Classic GM color and coat. The nose is laced with vanilla, butterscotch, and fruit pie. Rich and creamy on the palate, which opens up to caramel, cherries, orange peel, lemon zest, honey butter, and a hint of cinnamon spice. ‘The old reliable’. GlenDronach Port Wood
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed May 2, 2020 (edited December 3, 2020)Sweet, malt-rich candy notes and honey coat texture before a nice port finish. More of a dark liqueur profile or dessert dram than an every day whiskey, but overall a good change-of-pace offering from GlenDronach. (KM)50.0 USD per BottleThe GlenDronach Distillery
