P: Oily honey, charred brown sugar and spice at the front with some apple.. maybe some citrus. Sweetness subsided and sharp jump on charred oak around mid palate. F: Barrel char and leather. P: Entry is a sweet vanilla custard that quickly turns into Honey Nut Cheerios in chocolate milk! Holy hell this is a wonderful mix. N: Milk chocolate and vanilla P: Out of the gate, this horse has Quik chocolate milk at the front of the palate. As it comes down the stretch it moves into a spicy version of KFC chocolate 'Lil Bucket dessert. F: Short lived with the continuation of that cocoa powder. It doesn't continue quite long enough before wheat takes over and brings the heat. Black pepper sprinkles mid-palate. F: Very oaky finish that lasts for a good piece. The spice carries very well. F: Big oak on the back end. Long lingering Kentucky hug. Has a little more heat than 100 proof should. Bitter char at the very tail end. -

Sherry influence shows again. The honey like viscosity holds some herbal flavors by the mid palate. F: Finish is a wine inspired oak hug.
