Tastes

Nose- pretty standard, vanilla amd fresh cut grass Body- pear, vanilla, and honey Finish- pear and honey give way to lemon grass This is good but unremarkable.

Nose- similar notes to the 12, citrus Body- brighter than the 12 with higher alcohol content, citrus zest is more orange here Finish- ah, there’s the grapefruit and lemkn grass, another nice offering from Knappogue

Nose- vanilla and citrus zest Body- grapefruit sweetness and bitterness balance well Finish- very nice grapefruit notes continue and give eay to lemon grass This is a very nice pour.

Nose- earthy and different Body- leather and peopercorns with a but more zip than the 12 year Finish- something almost chemical here that is not my favorite though I like this a bit more than the 12 year

Nose- interesting, very different than most Irish Body- earthy, taste of pepper orns without the spice Finish- earthy and savory notes of leather and oil

Nose- not pleasant, lemon gummy bears Body- lemon gummi bears here as well with lemon grass Finish- peppery and grainy Unusual for an Irish, especially at the 100 proof mark but not my favorite.

Nose- vanilla and a hint of pit fruit Body- vanilla, dark chocolate, almond and a hint of cherry Finish- cherry and dark chocolate

Nose- vanilla and a hint of sweet bread Body- perfectly ok, sweet and a little vanilla givkng way to hint of grass Finish- grainy bread notes and s little mint Just ok.

Nose-pit fruit and vanilla Body-heavy wine notes, sweet cherry and blackberry jam but not cloying Finish- rich jam and cola This was very good! It is desert sweet but without the rotten fruit sweetness in other single malts with heavy wine influence.

Nose- caramel, cloves, and cinnamon Body- a bit bitter up front but this gives way to baking spices and pie shell, graham cracker, cinnamon and a hint of pumpkin Finish- cinnamon gives way to a slight hint of mint to finish the drink This is a nice one. As a rye, it splits the difference between rye and bourbon.
