Boone County Eighteen 33 10 Year Sauternes Barrel Select
Bourbon — USATastedNose- Vanilla, a bit of cherry, and pineapple Body- Is that cherry coke? There are also notes of raisin, blackberry and red licorice. The sweet wine finish is certainly present throughout but not cloyingly so. This is a wonderfully easy sipper. There is zero backburn. None. Finish- This is weird. I’m really not sure what I am tasting. The Sauternes comes through more here and is a little bit two white wine, juicy fruity. The pineapple comes through here that I had a hint of in the nose. This is the only shortcoming for me and it is a minor one for me. This is fantastic! Slainte Milliardo! Note- Truly unlike anything that I have had before. I really want a bottle now. Sad considering how few there are.
Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot "B" 12 Year

Old Ripy Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USATastedNose- sweet tea, orange marmalade and an astringent heat Body- orange, lemon, vanilla, baking spices, and a leathery earthiness that I often taste in WT products
Bond & Lillard Kentucky Straight Bourbon Batch 2
Bourbon — USATastedNose- The nose is full of lots of floral vanilla and a hint of citrus. Body- Very smooth and sweet up front with the vanilla sugar continuing, giving way to classic wild turkey earthiness including baking spices, pecans and lots of leather. There is a rich earthiness to this whiskey reminiscent of Blanton’s. Finish- The leather now gives way to tongue prickling pepper spices. This finish shifts gears hard when compared to the body. There is more of a zing than a sizzle that I really like. The pecan continues but becomes a bit more like the earthy bitter pecan pith that leaves your tongue a bit numb. This is an excellent, dynamic sipper. Thanks for the recommendation Milliardo.
Old Bardstown Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky , USATastedNose- dark chocolate and cherry Body- dark chocolate and lots of cherry Finish- the bitterness that I get in Old Bardstown 90 is present here but less so This is a very nice one. Simple yet tasty.
