Tastes

Faint aroma, hint of honeygram crackers and honeysuckle. Taste is mostly heat, with fresh oak. Hot and bitter. Finish is medium long, mostly hot pepper and bitter oak. Not great, not terrible.

Very rich and sweet like taffy and dried fruit. A bit of bitter oak on the finish. Not bad, but something about the sweetness is a little off-putting.

Nose: sweet cherry vanilla and brown sugar Taste: more cherry and sugar followed by strong oak and some nail polish Finish: bitter spicy oak that fades into sweet The bitterness in this really prevents me from enjoying it as much as I might otherwise on its own. Makes a good old-fashioned.

Nose: doesn't smell like much, light corn maybe Taste: hot and sweet Finish: hot with faint tabacco smoke

A little harsh and light on flavor. Light apples and faint peat. Some bitterness. Finish is surprisingly long with sweet apple.

Peaty, with a peppery finish. Enjoyable, but not great.

Rich complex well balanced flavors. Earthy bitterness and honey apple sweetness.
