Black Label has a citrussy nose with pepper hints. After, the palate opens up into floral sweets with a mild peat. It leans toward cognac even, strengthened by an equally dry finish. Way better than Red Label! (Originally tasted in Mexico, now on April 3rd, 2022 in Split, Croatia.)

This classic blend must've been one of the first whisky blends I tried. The nose is grainy with a sharp, sweet scent. It does remind of an apple, which comes through in the palate. Vanilla-like, not complex at all. Mild finish.
