A sweet aroma talks right off the bat. Anise peeks through a vanilla-based flav and subtle complexity. Actually, in its taste the triple oak becomes more prevalent. Slightly oily. Heavily tasty. Water droplets open up the palate which explored a sugary tint. Smooth finish, which makes it easy to drink.15.0 EUR per PourDe Kleine Parade

Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt
Blended Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed October 24, 2021 (edited November 13, 2022)Monkey Shoulder noses oily and sweet with a strong vanilla scent. Indeed an oily palate that unfolds in caramel and a dry pear. Mild finish with a light-peated salt.6.0 EUR per PourBleue Bar Bistro -
Spicy aromas with Asian scents speak up. Apparent cardamom and cubebs blend in which remind of the body of ginger. An almost liquorice-like flavor follows on the palate where peppers overrule. No extra peppers needed. Add two slices of lime for sweetness and tonic for a fresh 'bite.' Such a surprisingly tasty gin!32.0 EUR per BottleMitra Nieuwkoop

Benromach Cask Strength Vintage 2008 (Batch 1)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed July 11, 2021The first batch Benromach noses sweet like fresh raisins with a pleasant vanilla aroma. I detect somewhat of an orange. On the palate the whisky becomes thick and oily and unravels the sherry cask beautifully. Very pure in its salty, sherry flavor. It is up until the finish that the bodied peat starts to talk. When combined with dorblue cheese, two grades of salt melt together with the roamy cheese taste. Perfect companion! (Tasted at Breda & Gin Breda.)12.0 EUR per PourBREDA -
Disclaimer: The Glenlivet Nadurra Sherry Cask is tasted here. | Nose: deepened vanilla, bit of banana. Palate opens up with a couple drops of water and reveals a mystic, nutty spiciness. Reminds me of a steak with hefty seasalt grains on top of it. Finish is long, smart and nestles on the tongue with the 60.3% ABV. Tasted at Whisky & Gin Breda.12.25 EUR per PourBreda
