I do like this and it’s very easy to drink for 48.5% I’m getting a clove spice with a grassy, almost dill like character than I pick up on the nose and immediately taste. Nice whiskey!

Notes of vanilla and oak shine with a slight peppery note that is not over powering. Also a slight hint of smoke. A good reposado that works well neat or in a cocktail.

The bottle and label, along with the dark caramel color are beautiful. I get some nice nice vanilla, spice and caramel with a slight vegetal note that almost comes across as plastic-like. I don’t mind vegetal characters but this being so up front in the nose and on the finish seems kind of strange for a matured Añejo.
