good enough whiskey for the price

nice flavor profile although complexity is lacking, and the body is not as full as you'd expect for a 100 proof bottle. it is oily but I just feel that the with that proof there could me more flavor or more intensity to it

taste very similar to the 2016 cairdeas, wish it was more vanilla

very nice benchmark bold but oily

apple pie is a good description, though it doesn't feel that thick to me. entry is similar to the nose, nice light apple and baked goods, then evolves to oak and spice toward the end. A decent amount of pear appears in the after taste. light and palatable blend. very nice.
